Assisting expatriates

Expatriates have the possibility to work and live in Mauritius by obtaining an Occupation Permit. The way to obtain an Occupation Permit is either to work as a professional, to be an investor, to be self-employed. Opportunities exist for accountants, finance and marketing professionals, architects, investment bankers and risk managers, business consultants, IT and multi-media professionals amongst others.

An occupation permit allows a non-national to reside and work in Mauritius. It is both a work and residence permit. An investor, a professional or a self-employed person may be eligible under certain conditions. The dependents of an occupation permit holder may also apply for residence permits
It is also possible to live in Mauritius by obtaining a Residence Permit. This can be done by retiring in Mauritius and/or being the owner of an Integrated Resorts Scheme (“IRS”) or Real Estate Scheme (“RES”). We can assist you on the purchase of villas under the IRS or RES.
